Apple Inc. Revisited: Mastery in Innovation

Apple would like to introduce the NEW iPod Shuffle, ONLY $49.00.

Introducing the NEW iPod Touch.

The NEW iPod Nano.

So, last week I wrote to you guys about how Apple basically has no competitors and they are essentially going to stay on top of their part in the technology branch of business. Right after I had posted my blog, obviously Apple would send me an e-mail about their new iPod Touch that they just came out with. So, you’re thinking, what else can Apple actually do to their iPods to make them even better than what they already are? Well they haven’t stopped yet, because within the past week they have come out with a new version of EACH iPod that they make except for the Classic iPod, and because it’s “Classic” the only thing that would improve on that would be the size of it and the capacity of music that it can hold. Seems pretty logical right? WELL, the new iPod’s are sleeker and better than before, which is keeping Apple on the top of the market where they will be for many future years. What the hell is missing from this post? How come no other companies are coming up with innovative things JUST like Apple is?! Come on software companies, jump on the bandwagon and give them something to worry about because as of right now, Apple still is the leading, what a surprise. You think that Apple is done with what they have provided the consumer with each and every new iPod that they release, but low and behold they come out with new versions of EACH iPod within a time span of a WEEK! With sleeker looks, newer features, and awesome colors, who wouldn’t buy Apples iPod, I know I would, IT'S THE BEST OUT THERE.

This new innovation is good and bad for companies because obviously no one is coming up with new ideas, other than Apple, and giving them a run for their money. Apple obviously has the time that they need to make sure what they are doing works, and that it’s the best product out there on the market to date. The only thing that they have to compete against is themselves, and well really, that’s not a good competition because buyers are still going to go to Apple to get buy the products. I don’t know what it is but other companies seem to be dropping the ball with in this area of giving Apple any type of scare outside of their iPhone. I mean come on, what are they…scared they won’t produce something as great as Apple?
