Whose to Blame?????

In my opinion the internet was one of the GREATEST inventions ever. It bring miles and miles of information to your screen with just a click from the mouse pad. In the past 10 years even the internet has evolved, bringing fourth new applications, better features, and the abality to stay connected to your loved ones no matter the location. Online Banking has made it easier for people to paybills and manage daily transactions. Since the internet is so broad and has very little limitations, it is easy to see why minors can get trapped in online gambling, cheating, and costly contracts. Some people will argue that parents should do a better job parenting and monitering what their child does on the internet. Others will say that some websites should have better security and limitations so that minors cannot access their website. I feel that there should be an equal balance, it is easy for parents to say go watch tv, or go on the internet rather then taking the time to discipline their child. But parents are not always around to moniter the behavior of their child. Children and adolescents are curious and sometimes explore and get into situation where even they know is wrong but do it becasuse they can, and thats when better security features come into play. The question that I would like to leave people with today is; Has the invention of new technology taken away from parental discipling?
